LCP provides professional complete port services for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

with dedicated handling facilities, general warehouses, hazardous goods warehouses, distribution centers, road and railway network system which connects every part of the country, and most of all, the significant utilities such as electricity, water and land lines are provided throughout the whole port. Moreover, LCP offers navigation ships and tug boats which are operated by experienced and skillful sailors. LCP also visualized the importance of the clean and safe environment by providing cleaning and eliminating waste services from the ships, avoiding pollution along the vicinity of the port. For other facilities and convenience in the port, LCP has placed a great importance for the convenience, safety and quick respond service for customers as follows:

• Dredge a channel from the open sea to the port at the depth of 14 meters for the Phase 1 Project and at the depth of 16 meters for the Phase 2 Project. It also place buoys and navigation lights along the navigation channel to assist in the ship navigation, supporting especially large vessels entering the port.
• Plan for an establishment of the ocean control centre in order to communicate and monitor sea accidents as well as control the maritime traffic via radars, MF/HF DSC and VHF/DSC Radio system and VTS computer system.
• Construct break water for 3,200 meter long for the safety of the ships while berth and un-berth the dock. And also it will prevent danger from water waves while loading and unloading goods from the ship.
• Patrol along the coast within the port’s area and prevent outsiders entering restricted areas by patrol boats that coordinate with the security centre all 24 hours everyday. This execution complies with the LCP’s security measures (PFSP) regulate by the ISPS Code concerning the sea patrol. It become effective since July 1, 2004.
