The Port Authority of Thailand has hired Asian Engineering Consultant Co., Ltd as a consultant to prepare appropriately the financial and engineering report on this project. Board of the Port Authority of Thailand have been agreed with a resolution on July 30, 2009 including budget of investment project about 2,570,000 million bath (excluding the budget of provider’s tool and IT operation systems figured 544,700 million bath)

The Cabinet, the Ministry of Transport has informed the Port Authority follow the opinion of the Office of the National Economic and Social Development  Board (NESDB), proposed by the Port Authority.
