Laem Chabang Port, the main port of Thailand, is strengthening its capabilities to be entitled “World Class Port” enabling to compete with other ports worldwide. Its aim is to be a hub of the region or gateway for neighboring countries in Kong River Region and be able to handle incremental freight service provision.

Manage and develop the Port to be the main infrastructure to increase the country's sustainable competitiveness.
Have a joint venture with the government and private sectors in port operations and related business to develop the transportation system and goods transferal; enabling to establish logistics chain and promote alternative transportation network.
Prepare to privatize in accordance with the government's policy in order to gain more flexibilities in administration and management.
