Laem Chabang Port, as the Port Management Body (PMB), is responsible for managing and maintaining resources and properties of the port. It also control and carry on port operations to be in line with the government’s objective and policy. Its duties are as follows:

Plan to develop the port harmonize with the National Economic and Social Development Plan.

Oversee and promote private port operator companies to their most effective service capabilities.

Provide facilities, infrastructure and towing ships and control marine traffic within its area.

Carry and store hazardous goods.

Manage finance and accountings.

Regulate environment and safety.

Control computer network systems which connected to private agencies, the Port Authority of Thailand and all related authorities.

Promote market and public relation.

Keep contact and cooperate with international organizations and ports worldwide.
